2019: A Year In Review for Altru Creative

I think we can all agree that 2019 was a wild ride. As the final year of the decade, there was an urgent and proactive energy that was pretty universally felt. For the team at Altru Creative, 2019 was the busiest year yet. From Prism, to the three Spotlights, to Deep Tropics, there was never a dull moment.

In March, the team took a trip down to Miami for Miami Music Week. June saw our biggest Prism party to date, as well as the release of Kemosabi’s debut album “Booyaka”. In August we helped throw the second Deep Tropics Music and Art Festival, headlined by Rick Ross, Troyboi, Cashmere Cat and Bonobo. Also in August we shot and directed Mike Floss' music video for "FOTW," which recently surpassed 180 thousand plays. In October we saw Jade Million take the main stage at Nashville’s Breakaway music festival. In December we went out with a bang, partnering with Vice Paradise to throw “Deck the Claws.” With unlimited White Claws, it was a memorable party, perfect to close the decade. We participated in six Decompress events, threw VanDyke’s first ever rooftop show with Jade Million, and worked with over 100 artists.

2019 was a whirlwind, to say the least. We can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store and we’re forever grateful for all the creative energy and people this year that helped make Altru everything we are.
